Studio / Flow room

As you approach a quiet upstairs loft you will find a room to store your items and decompress on a couch before your class begins.  in this room You will also find complimentary towels and reading material. 

The yoga studio is A spacious 1000 sqft tranquil room surrounded by views of nature including mountain and tree top views.  Each class will have a max occupancy of 30 to ensure each individual experiences a spacious and comfortable space AROUND them. 

​After class enjoy a hot tea, coffee, or water at our beverage counter as well as aroma infused steamed towels to freshen up.

Following the traditional principle of building heat from the inside out, our classes systematically create internal heat and use harmonious sequencing to cultivate strength, flexibility, stamina balanced with relaxation and meditation. This allows for a much deeper experience of the poses in a way that is balanced, sustainable and supportive to the body. We invite you to explore all the different yoga classes at Yoga Shakti and develop a strong body with a balanced mind, while cultivating your Atma Shakti, or inner strength and radiance.
Our classes include Restorative, Hatha, Gentle, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Power Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, and our proprietary Shakti Yoga and Guided Shakti Meditation classes as well as customized private yoga classes / lessons.

Elisa’s passion for yoga began in 2010. After she attended her first vinyasa flow class, she was hooked. As her passion for yoga grew, so did her interest in the fundamentals of teaching yoga. She completed her 200 hr yoga training and started teaching shortly after. Her reward for teaching others yoga is to see their personal growth with a solid yin and yang yoga practice. Her classes incorporate breath to breath mindful movements to build strength, flexibility, and balance for students of all levels.

VAL She wants you to leave her class knowing that you were appropriately challenged while simultaneously listening to your body. She also wants you to walk out with a calmer, clearer mind. Valarie was first introduced to yoga in 2002, where she quickly learned that yoga was so much more than a physical practice. It helped her find relief and release during times of stress and anxiety. Her love for yoga only increased over the years. In 2014, she enrolled in Travis Eliot and Daniel Head’s 200-hour holistic yoga teacher training program. She slowly transitioned from working in marketing full-time to teaching full-time, in hopes of sharing the many benefits of yoga. Valarie leads a wide range of classes: beginner yoga, power & vinyasa, meditation, chair yoga, yin, yoga for seniors, corporate yoga and more. When she is away from her mat, you’ll usually find her enjoying time with her family outdoors.

Stanis K. Askew is a lover of movement. A true passion of hers is helping people feel good and move their bodies. Stanis is a Certified Yoga instructor, certified doula along with many other titles. Movement started for Stanis at the age of three in various dance genres. As a movement coach Stanis is allowed to incorporate classical dance moves in with her yoga routines. The collaboration of yoga poses, pranayama (the regulation of the breath through certain techniques and exercises) and conditioning exercises Stanis will have you strengthen and stretching your bodies in ways you never imagined. Stanis’ educational background of sports medicine guides her to innovative safe ways to move. Her love for the body in it’s uniqueness has her striving for different techniques of release. Myofascial release being one as well as mediation which is the release of the mind.
