Flowstone Bouldering League Fall 2025
Thursdays | Sept 11, 18, 25 & Oct 2 | 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Progress Over Grades. Community Over Ego.
The Flowstone Bouldering League (FBL) is back! four weeks of bouldering , team camaraderie, and a scoring system that levels the playing field for climbers.
THE fbl is designed to be fun and challenging for most climbers, with problems ranging from V0 to V9 each week. While everyone is welcome, the scoring format works best for climbers who can regularly send at least V2/V3 or higher. Don't let this deter you because the competitive and community atmosphere still makes it worth it.
Pull up to pull down, support your team, or just track progress over 4 weeks. this league is for you.

1How Scoring Works
Each week, 10 new boulders are set to climb. You’ll track your attempts and sends — your goal is to complete any 5 boulders within your declared V-grade range. Here's how your performance contributes to your team:
This format makes it possible for teams to stay competitive even if someone misses a week and it rewards every climber for giving it their all. We encourage you to try every boulder in your range. Flashing climbs (sending on your first try) earns the most points — every additional fall reduces the value of the climb by -1 points. So bring your focus and strategy each week to gain the most points!

- Individual Score
Your score is based on your best 5 boulders of your declared grade rage, for the week, using the relative scoring system (see below). - Team Score (Weekly)
Each team has up to 4 climbers. At the end of the week, we’ll take the top 3 individual scores from your team to calculate the weekly team total. - Final Score (League Total)
Weekly team scores from all 4 weeks will be combined to determine final rankings and league winners.

Scoring System (Relative Grade Format)
Each climber declares a "max V-grade" meaning the highest grade you can regularly complete in a session. Your weekly points are derived from that declared grade:
